I really miss those lessons la, the times where we would like laugh at one random expression from zhiwei. How the girls would stay and back away into their corner. How me and the surrounding people would be engrossed in their own thing. Clique six laughing at some random stuff. Rouhui playing psp/reading manga, kendric + carol + xiahao sleeping. Those were the TIMES man.


Although miss yang is certainly as powerful as mrs leuar, that stupid miss tan can never be as epic as AK. That is the truth. GP lessons are really the shit now.

After all was done, we headed to an old haunt - clementi KFC, for dinner. Epic laughter, bundled with the stomach cramps and all.



Not really gonna say much in detail about what happened the past few days. Cause I had many changes of heart here and there.

Tuesday CJC called me at 1pm and told me to turn up at 3pm for interview.

Totally stunned. Dad fetched me and I had this pretty long chat with brother paul. To cut a long story short, I'm now in CJC :D But he is one sharp man.




Wednesday morning.

Pending LRT station is madness, like srsly. People from yew tee/cck/bukit batok all coming to take that lone 966 bus that refuses to come more often. A 12 minute frequency isn't high enough SMRT. Wake up your bloody idea lulz.

So I was nearly late for school, chatted with a few J1s on the way there.

I joined IG 34, which belonged to Aphrodite house - the same house that spams pickup lines and hidden pelvic thrusts. Goddess of love and lust indeed.

Anyway, they rock lah. Like I mean, just throw together a bunch of random strangers with a new guy and you get a winning dragonboat team. Wow, like, wow. All so nice people.

Coming from an all chinese school, everyone's so diverse ethnically. I found people who might be more ang mor pai than me. A Japanese speaking indonesian, a half french dude, and a half irish facil.

I've never had any non-chinese in my class since primary 1, honestly.

But of course, we get split into our classes tomorrow, so I'm gonna see a load of new faces. Hope I still stick to IG34 guys.


CJC orientation games really forcefully drag you out of your comfort zone with a barbed wire and lash your mind repeatedly with it. Like, the spaghetti game, the attack-defense game. The freaking telematches. THE TELEMATCHES.

allow me to elaborate. Every member of the team has to do the following stages.

Stage 1 : Fill up a pail using sponge balls that have to be gripped with your crotch and armpit.
Stage 2 : Barrel roll 20 metres across the field
Stage 3 : Everyone forms a 'caterpillar'; sitting on the ground with their feet on the thighs of the person in front of them, forming a chain alternating guys and girls. The caterpillar has to crawl about 20 metres.
Stage 4 : Lather your hair with dishwashing liquid and cover one team member with the suds.
Stage 5 : Spin around 10 time on the spot, run and bite one soybean off a plate of flour, do 5 jumping jacks on your way back and spit the soybean out on your team's plate.
Stage 6(whilst covered in flour and soap) : Run up the grandstand to take a bite off a watermelon slice.

All while the insane facils are out to lynch you with pails of muddy water. WORST PQ EVER.

the spaghetti game is guys and girls pair up then they each must bite each end of a raw spaghetti strand and duckwalk across to the finish line without breaking it. If the strand breaks the pair continue with the shorter end.


Thank goodness I missed out on the messiest day and the most boring day.

2 more days of orientation. GCME class here I come!

00 has easy model numbers, which follow the template GN(letter) - XXXXX.

Most units have names that reference angels or the major arcana of the tarot.

We all know that unlike amuro ray, kira yamato speaks his mind and also cries like a little baby douchebag. We all know that setsuna is totally devoid of emotion and only seeks to create peace of the world with his precious gundam.


Let's look at some interesting stuff.

Kira Yamato : 16 in SEED, 18 in SEED destiny
Athrun Zala : 16 in SEED, 18 in SEED destiny
Lacus Clyne : 16 in SEED, 18 in SEED destiny
Shinn Asuka : 18 in SEED destiny, therefore 16 during the events of SEED.

Don't even ask me why the seed is in caps.

it looks like sunrise is really aiming for some deviation in age between core characters, slowly but surely. Next thing you know you're gonna have lolis and ahpeks piloting Gundams. But wait.... doesn't that already happen in Gundam 00F/P/whatever sidestory they have?


let's look at their names. No, wait, we won't. We all know Gundam stories are notorious for having Japanese/Western hybrid names that sound absolutely retarded in both contexts. Here are some ridiculous names from both series.

Soran Ibrahim and Neil Dylandy sound a lot nicer than Prayer Reverie and Lunamaria Hawke. Although Marina Ismail and Marie Parfacy made me cringe upon hearing them.




3. Mobile suit designs.

I have to say that 00 wins hands down. Sure it was 3 years after seed destiny. But at least all the suits aren't frigging blue + red + white + yellow all the time. and the enemy grunts aren't always one eyed fatties with bazookas. 00 made every gundam have its own unique weapon with a NAME. Instead of just "Beam Sabre", bigger "Beam Sabre", huge ass "Beam Sabre", and "Generic lazar cannon".

Maybe its me, but besides the suits that have colour schemes, every other suit looks the same for SEED.



4. Politics and plot.(copied from wikis)

Well, at least 00 doesn't resort to heavy usage of acronyms and the mass renaming and regrouping of factions. People don't change sides in war easily. The only char who actually changed sides in 00 was Marie Parfacy(aka soma peries), Saji and Louise don't count cause they entered the war only at second season.


Seed just proves to be clusterfug after clusterfug even with its faction naming and character allignments to each faction.


The factions seem to be an obvious rip off of each other though. Blue Cosmos = Alaws. the coordinator concept = innovator. orb union = azadistan. The list goes on, sunrise never fails to disappoint.



In all gundam series, there never fails to be a satellite crash! Well, in 00, we don't get a satellite crash, but instead we have a falling orbital elevator! Yay!

Also, why keep a giant superweapon when you can have 2? :)


To summarise each series plot as succintly as possible.

SEED - Stop the kukus from ruling the world and destroying the peace!!!!!!!!!

00 - Unite the world through armed intervention in conflict and destroy all the oppression of the weak caused by the fanatics that are actually within our ranks cause they think that their way of uniting the world is better!




If you pit all the gundams of each series in 1 on 1 battles, the 00 side would lose.

1. Seed has enough models to outnumber each 00 Gundam 20 to 1.
2. Seed pilots can destroy thousands of enemy grunts unhurt.
3. Seed pilots can miraculously survive by leaping through gigantic plot holes.

Of course, seed pilots would lose if Hallelujah shows up in something that can trans-am. He would own regardless of whether he was in a gundam or a tieren.
