So, after the rather uneventful day on friday (Good teachers don't teach on the first and last day of school), 94th coy fell in at the parade square under my command(@.@). Attendance was really hard to remember, I would realise that later on.

The BBGB campsite hadn't changed since I was last there 10 years ago, it was a run down dump reminiscent of BBHQ. We had camp commencement parade and I screwed up reporting. Downed 20 for bad uniform.

This was a fraction of the many that was yet to come.

We then did some light drill until 6. Before going for our first bath session. After changing to polo, a rather delicious dinner. Before slacking for a really long time and going for adventure lessons.


NIGHT CYCLING
Our group of Squad 2 sec 3s and officer shengwen left the campsite at about 11.30.WHY MR SEE SIN HON WAS THERE, I HAVE NO IDEA.

Okay, we got lost :( For the first hour, because of me missing the turn the admiralty road east. So we went using an alternate route via Sembawang Road turning into Gambas Avenue to head into woodlands. Apparently we had no time to hit Senoko Fishing port so we just headed straight to our destination. The dam of a reservoir which name i forgot D:

So we went down the long road and into Marsiling MRT. Took a right turn after some dispute and fought our way up 3 long and hard slopes while enjoying the dive after each one. At Turf Club, we took another right into Kranji Road. There were like many dogs around and we just shut up and cycled past. After cycling to seemingly no objective and end, we REACHED THE DAMN DAM. Heard Clarence's group nearby, while we took a break and a piss.

Our return route back was 10 times more eventful. We stopped by a 7/11 at Woodgrove Shopping Centre for some relaxation. The remaining course was a long way back. After we kickstarted the cycling again, eddie got leg cramps D: SHIT

We went down the meandering Woodlands avenue 1 for about 3 km until we hit Woodlands avenue 12. Avenue 12 itself was about 6km long, we took a long time and kept taking breaks(also to give eddie time to catch up). Alas, after the long STRAIGHT road(enough for an aeroplane to take off), WE REACHED FAMILIAR SEMBAWANG ROAD.

Unfortunately, factoring all the turns, Sembawang road was longer than woodlands avenue 2. Not to mention full of bends and slopes. Eddie couldn't take it and was brought back by officer Eric in his car.

There was one point where me ahmeng and junhao were at this traffic junction taking a break at the side. Junhao crossed the zebra crossing and sprawled out onto the floor asleep. Then 2 china women cycled over and stared at him, then me and ahmeng just kept laughing. The entire scene was damn retarded.

On a side note, Ahmeng was the 2nd fastest cycler in squad 2.

We arrived in camp exhausted and greeted by mingyao and joel, both of whom surprisingly were awake.

Pity the group that got Jesse Lim as leader.

We took a bath and then dropped dead asleep.

The following morning, we all woke up at least 1 hour early. Took our time and fell in in Full U beside canteen. Reported as usual. Changed out and went for breakfast. THEN TEAM BUILDING GAMES.

After that was lunch, then war games. Shuang Kuok was damn hiong lol. He's going to make a good drill instructor someday. Capture the flag was really very competitive.

We then had drill, and PUMPED SEC 1S FOR THE FIRST TIME. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, FELT GOOD. But I did with them okay, I'm so nice.

Then we had the entire company of sec 1s and 3s doing drill together like morons.

After that was campfire preperation. Kailun John Ahmeng and I went to bathe in the open shower area. Then we kept screaming and yelling retarded stuff. And there was a slight hesitation to strip all the way down, but the underwear came off anyway.

I came out of the shower awfully high from screaming to find andrew waiting outside. I looked to my right and saw a few officers and sec2s discussing things, clearly in earshot.

Man I felt like a bitch.

So campfire was like awful shit. Our dinner felt reasonably meaty. The forest squirrel thing was the worst shit of them all. Marcus and I went over to the GB, looked at them, they looked at us, and they moved away.

So after the whole damn thing, we found ourselves at the basketball court in full U staring at Edmund Ng while he spouted stories that he had made up 30 seconds before.

After supper, we all just retired to bed.

Strangely enough, we slept longer and found it harder to wake up than the previous night. It was good to note that officer JT is made to be an assassin. He can enter a room and just stare at us and we won't notice until like 10 minutes later. We were shocked thrice.

The last day was really slack, just games, a very short muster parade. And a lot of complaining on who stank the most. SOCCER ROCKS. CPL SAMUEL TAKES THE TITLE OF MAN OF THE MATCH. REC ANDREW TAKES THE TITLE OF BEST DEFENDER ON EARTH, BEING ABLE TO SAVE BALLS BY STANDING THERE AND DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, THE HEADER AND VOLLEY WAS BEAUTIFUL :`)

Our last activity was bunk inspection. I felt the strength of the entire company as we went down for that short 30. It was nice to have all 73 of us going down. The whole building shook whenever we counted. Okay, maybe because the building was like going to collapse anyway.

At home, I had lunch before going for drum.

I just thought of a lot of stuff.

Okay, we all know that the Earth is dying, BUT, I believe we can heal it to an extent where by it won't be as bad as now.

Firstly, we need to know how to artificially synthesize and bond oxygen atoms to form ozone molecules. This technology has to be taken to a large scale, operations must be performed daily at high rates.

Secondly, our leaders, the governments of all countries, need to help. In what way? Financially, if each country just contributes US$20,000,000 to a fund to help save the earth, we would have a lot of money to work with.

The following is how the money will be spent.

-International education programmes to raise environmental awareness.
-Funding of Ozone synthesis research and developement
-Plantations, use existing barren land and convert them by forcefully using fertilisers and investing in irrigation methods. Useful plants such as Oil Palm and Teak trees will be grown for their practical usage.

-MASS REFORESTATION. Yes, I'm not joking. We have to force grow plants if we're going to survive. Construct maintainence sites at existing desertificated forests. Provide plenty of fertilisers and grow peanuts to give the soil an initial burst of nitrogen.
With the renewed soil, plant in plant species of forests(depending on the area). The plants will take at least 100 years to mature and dense themselves. At the same time, who says introducing animals and fungi into the new habitat is impossible?

Still, even if this happens all over the world simultaeniously, the world will take decades, possibly centuries to reduce Carbon Dioxide levels in the atmosphere. At the same time, the research for synthesising Ozone has to be well handled as it is ultimately ridiculous to try and release large volumes(I'm talking hundreds of thousands of square kilometres) of ozone in order to try and fill the break in the ozone layer.

- Alternate fuel research, don't really need to talk about this one.

Next point - Put strict laws so that each nuclear family on earth is only entitled to 2 cars at most. At the same time, implement laws that limit the amount of petrol that can be pumped into a car at a time.

If additional funding is available, more money should be put into research for alternate fuel sources, solar panels should be mass produced also.

The Earth still won't be the way it was before, but if we just try, and make it better, it may be worth it for all of us. We can protect our future generations, from suffering from the mistakes that we did.

Still, after it ended, it was time for Dr. Jackie Pullinger to give her sermon. It was quite amazing, her stories, and she's pretty funny too. Hard to believe she's 85 years old.

Jackie Pullinger has my respect, even with that long boring, and rather cold sermon, she earned my respect within 1 hour of me looking at her.

She made me realise what Christianity is about.

And we're real misunderstood too. Many of us are labelled by our friends as brainwashed dogs who only go around "forcing" people to go to church. But is that true?

Why did Jesus Christ have to be executed at Cavalry's tree 1974 years ago? What did one man do to deserve such a gruesome death. Even if he claimed to be the son of God, all he did was preach, try to make the world a better place, telling people to love one another, that was it. Did he put emphasis on people having to worship him? No. Did he ever curse anyone whom did not follow him to eternal damnation? No.

Same thing, all we want to do is just follow what our God tells us. To be good people, to try and change things. No one ever said "sinning" was toxic cyanide to our souls. No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, why do you have to get at us?

However "ridiculous" bible stories may sound, its our faith that counts. Believing in them without question knowing it'll guide us well and proper in our lives, isn't that what religion is all about? Who cares about who goes to heaven and who goes to hell, let's just live life and make it good while we're still alive on Earth.

I make a challenge to any of you, try doing a good deed for as many people as you can in the next week, you'll feel good about it.

I arrived at Buona Vista MRT at a very foolish 1.15pm. Only xiahao, jinman, jihang and pui were there. Wasn't long before my lack of breakfast caused me to take a shit at the toilet.

Made various phone calls, nicky was going there direct, cherhan was going to be late, zhiwei wasn't coming. Jack came right on time, and laughed at xiahao for thinking everyone would turn up at 1.30.

Turns out, at about 1.42pm the rest of the class popped out from behind. Jieming dao-ed me ._. then, ZHAI WAS THERE ;D

We walked down the overhead bridge and headed into the labyrinth of hdb flats until we reached settler's cafe. A real small cosy place with nice atmosphere.

Headed to the 2nd floor where the minute space managed to fit 30 people + chaohsien. We sat down, I learnt the basics of magic :O magic, you know? mo2 shu4? ma hou?

We did a last second english test today. The first of its kind, "Shooting an elephant", freaking cool passage.

Okay, so in the past 4 months, we've learnt more in our lives than in our past 10 years. This is insane, what's wrong man? Sec school seems to have 6 years too, 2 at the first 2, and 1 year for each half of sec 3 and 4. Stresssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Okay I admit i only looked at a few questions and I didn't even touch it once.

I mugged geog and 百欧 today okay. Its tough. Chem, sigh, bring on the sadness. I hate chemistry and HUMANITIES. I'm not human omfg.

I failed physics, 12/30 to be precise. Okay, I was very careless, I need to brush up on concept now.

It is interesting to note that I was number 4 in bio in class 3/2, MAN our class bio sucks. Okay, there are like 10 people in front of me, I kid you not.
