Gah, just finished a game of dota, had to leave halfway because mom used menopause beam on me, 1 hit KO. Damn, necrolyte damn fun.

Of course, it was about 1/2 a year ago I was introduced to dota, Crystal maiden, my first hero, probably won't forget.

Such an eventful year is really ending, everything I did, all the times I went out and had fun, pool, Lan, movies, burger king, it was really so fun.

Once again I underwent another metamorphosition and became a new me, I'm like "The World" except I can't control ice and I don't look like a mask rider.

And I obviously did not get killed by an exploding PDA.

Moving on, 2007, sigh.

205 '06s chalet, is over.

On Monday, I was busy wrapping presents when I realised it was taking me too fucking long and I wouldn't have much time. So I gave up my precious lemon chicken and got ready to leave, after purchasing some saline from a spectacle shop.

It took me a full 20 minutes to put on the lenses alone for the first time.

Of course, it was well worth it for full clear peripheral vision. Happy me went over to Clementi to eat an upsized fillet o' fish student meal.

Took the East West line all the waaaaay to Pasir Ris, some confusion over the platforms at Tanah Merah took place, but yeah. Saw Eddie, Weiliat, Fangyu, Bryan and Zhipeng. Was quite happy to see their smiling faces greeting me.

Serene decided to stay back and wait for nicky, while me and jack went on ahead to take a crampy i-forgot-what-bus to costa sands. A short 5 minute walk brought us to our unit, J-06. Where an awfully high chalet exco and zishuo awaited us after 5 minutes of banging the door in the drizzle.

Nicky, Serene, Roanna and Presley came about 30 seconds after I dropped off my shit at the room upstairs. It was really bored so I decided to plug in the Xbox early, paying for a $4 3 way 3 pin adapter, HALO 2 FTWWWWWW.

Btw did I mention that Xbox was a bitch to carry from bukit panjang all the way to pasir ris? Because it sure as hell was

Of course, it provided the basic entertainment for many of us at the chalet. When we switched to dead or alive, it brought laughs and fun for an m18 game. Rofl, stupid boobs. It felt fun raping people while it sucked shit being raped by people who had only begun playing hours earlier D:

Of course, the first night was awfully sian. Cherhan bought some shandy and shared a bit with me, though he was already on the verge of leaving. Some of us left for McD in the night, others went to the arcade.

and Of course, I was sick of hearing Captain Rush's famous "Just hold down the trigger and keep firing!"

After returning to the chalet, some of us made a pact to stay awake, none of which ever kept to that promise. I retired to the room to sleep in the gap in between the mattress and the door, with weiliat beside me, while zishuo and zhipeng spread their legs, putting the 2 of us, and ferny, in an awfully awkward position.

I'd seriously like to know whose phone had that electro fantasy ringtone. So cool.

Tuesday, the more eventful day.

at 4am, some of us had woken up and found ourselves at mcdonalds munching down on mainly $2 deals and hash browns. Bryan put an insane amount of creamer and sugar in his tea, making it more of a sweet milk drink than a bittersweet caffeinated beverage.

Not like it mattered, we trudged back to the chalet-again, in the apparent rain.

Xbox-ed until the early afternoon. Nicky Jack and I went over to downtown east(AGAIN) to eat lunch. Nicky had a beefbowl, Jack ate some traditional chinese beef noodles while I had savoury Kway Chap that cost only $3.50.

Obviously, the weather wasn't about to lighten up for Wild Wild wet.

People like Elena and Qianyi came, then jiangbabe keelun and yiseng, kelvin and of course, BENNY! Don't we all love Benny?

It was cool because he volunteered to go buy food from the NTUC at white sands when it was raining cats and dogs and cycling there would be like eating a cold-in-a-can type of thing. Rawr, bryan jack nicky serene and me followed him there.

It was quite stunning to see Serene get fascinated by the mechanism of the supermarket trolley. We bought marshmallows, squid, peppers, sausages, and even strangely enough， 旺旺(which we tossed into a corner and never noticed until packing time).

Cycling back was less distressing but equally, if there's even a word to replace it, wet.

I guess you could say our adventures were lacking 1 wild, if not it could match an $8 ticket.

The barbecue went under way once yishuo arrived, everyone began skewering food and passing it to the grill, while me yishuo nicky and serene went cycling. A move which I would live to regret.

We went along the seaside for a moment, going through tons of giant puddles for an awfully long time until we turned back and raced. I think serene fell down, I wasn't really sure.

I realised how a towel can be your best friend after you've been in the rain, nonetheless, I lived to regret going cycling as I couldn't get any food from the barbecue, instead just chatting with people. MR FOO ARRIVED LOL. Then he played blackjack with some of us, losing ;D

Chao chao came also, shockingly to stay for the night, when even cherhan had departed the very same morning. Well, I guess he needed the guys for his "needs" >;)

We formed a small party and cycled downtown, going arcade to watch nicky chaohsien and zishuo shoot hoops. They missed by 1 ball =( so sad.

Obviously, we weren't about to miss out on $3 for 4 cans shandy. We just bought and drank and drank and drank. Fun leh ;D

Some others went for night cycling while me yuan ferny jack presley roanna decided to be insane and squeeze into the bed. Me and jack pressed at the centre even up till the freaking morning when yuan and ferny were gone.

Woke up, played some halo and kept my xbox. After seeing a few corpses(yishuo, zishuo) and a much alive gay(chao hsien) , I didn't have much to say. Just packed the Xbox and afked from life, until we learnt how to play hearts, QUEEN OF PAIN! QUEEN OF PAIN!

That was the dub we gave to the queen of spades, aka the ggqueen, joining the family of ggbeam, the ggball, and ggblade.

We all packed and left soon after, going our own seperate ways, zishuo joined us to go pool at SAFRA.

Man, couldn't concentrate, kept screwing up and even fought on par with zishuo. I fell asleep at the rest chairs for about an hour, in the end i ended up paying less, lol.

Went back to the hawker centre to eat $1 ice kachang, while yishuo ate $2 durian chendol, TWICE. He spent 4 times as much money on an ice dessert than me yet I still enjoyed mine longer than his.

MRT-ed back to clementi and we really split up, except for yishuo who followed me onto the 184, where I had burst naps of about 10 second delay in between - in my contacts, rofl. Screw oxygen.

Of course, I'm back home, typing on my keyboard, away.

11th december.



Of course I wouldn't say I didn't feel anything as I stepped into terminal 1. I saw auntie sharon and her 2 colleagues, and the 2 kids. It wasn't long before I waved goodbye to mom and dad. And checked into the departure hall.



I went to the toilet 3 times in 1 hour >_> We saw some Osim iSqueeze machines right outside the holding room before we could enter the plane. Needless to say we spent a tad of a time there.



On the plane, I was quite high considering the last time I sat on a plane was nearly 7 years ago, okay, maybe more than that. Takeoff came, and I enjoyed it. Every moment as I felt the gradient of the plane pulling me up every metre into the sky.



I was beside the guy with the window seat. Had some talk with him, apparently it was his first time flying. I also found out he was malaysian. I didn't find out his name though. I had to admit I was pretty annoyed when he kept pulling down the window screen.



I watched the sky grow darker and darker with every minute, winter skies breed early nights. Before 6pm the skies had been a black void. Although that was so, the sunset was barely visible in the distance.



Imagine how I felt when I saw buildings from the plane's perspective. Before I realised it, I had touched down on Hong Kong.



The exit from the plane brought me down to the main aircraft parking area, although not for long, a trolley bus had been waiting. Man that bus was huge, it managed to hold everyone from the plane for goodness sake @.@



The first Hong Konger I saw was this guy who was guiding us through this check-out queue and I RECOGNISED HIS ACCENT STRAIGHTAWAY. LOL. There was this black woman behind me who had a strong american accent as well. "Keesha, don't eat it like that, its nasty." Wow, I wonder how they understood the hongkongers in the first place.



After the tedious checking out and recovery of luggage, we walked around for a moment before a man(I had no idea if it was planned or not, but it probably was) picked us up and drove us to our residential area, Kowloon district.



Entry into waterloo street brought visibility to the Metropark Hotel Kowloon. A proud 4 star hotel with the friendliest staff and the most convinient shuttle bus service. I'll work on that later.



I shared the same room with uncle yaohe. He's a retiree at 46 because he worked for the army. He was a quiet guy.



We moved over next door to a shop where we would dig into our( or at least mine) first taste of hongkong. I tried the beef noodles, even though the price was higher than expected, it was simple superb.



I retired for the night after that, not after taking the coldest shower in the world and sleeping in the coldest room in the word .______.



12th december 2006 : Trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, I'll give a bleach OP/ED to each segment of the trip.



Shuttle bus to Mongkok -> ORANGE RANGE - Asterisk
All the buildings just flew by as the driver sped past with ease and skill, before long, nearby mongkok station was close. I wasn't really sure that it was, as there was no sign to show where it was.



Walking on the streets of Hong Kong -> Yui - LIFE
It wasn't the friendliest ambience in the world, but it made me feel at peace. There was a sense of satisfaction blasting through me as I strolled past the countless 7/11, the roadside stalls, and the little roads whereby the cars are choked by pedestrians.



Entering the MTR subway -> UVERworld - Ai Ta Kokoro
Another weird sense of satisfaction as I trudged down the stairs into the station. I fished out my trusty octopus card, otherwise known as the 八达通 card. Its the hong kong equivalent of our EZ link card, except Singapore fucking plagiarised it. The resemblance to a Singaporean MRT station was way too uncanny. Definitely.

Tsuen Wan Line to Lai King -> HIGH AND MIGHTY COLOUR - Ichirin no Hana
You could feel the velocity of the train as it sped through, going in and out of tunnels. I noticed all MTR stations were indoor. With the lone exception of Sunny Bay.



Tung Chung Line to Sunny Bay -> Rie fu - Life is like a boat
A slower, peaceful ride into the large open air station, the 6 of us walked out of the train across the platform into the disneyland resort line train. THE WINDOWS ARE FUCKING MICKEY MOUSE HEADS WTF. how COOL IS THAT CCB.



Disneyland Resort line to Disneyland -> UVERworld - CHANCE!
Tension build up in all of us as we approached the well loved hong kong disneyland via ground floor track circling the mountain. The song itself has a very turn on turn off seriousness, which made it PERFECT to theme the ride



Walking to Disneyland -> Sunset Swish : 1,2,3. My Pace
I'll walk at my pace all the way!

Of course this post is fucking long enough already and I sure as hell don't need to sum up this part, hell, the title says it all.

Disneyland was real fun, except that the tour guide in the jungle river cruise really made me laugh at the steriotype of hongkong's famous accent that marked the way chinese speak english in the american world.I swear that guide's name was JACK YUAN, he said it himself, and his nametag had it.



It didn't really bother me much, I took space mountain 6 times and posed for all except the first one, where I didn't really realise they were taking pictures of us. I took pictures with King Mickey(whom had tried to blizzaga me thinking I was a heartless, damn his eyesight), and the BIGGEST PIMP IN THE WORLD.



Of course he really isn't much of a pimp, neither is his purpose, all that fatass wants to do is eat when all the women in the world would squeal to cuddle in bed with him.



Disneyland's closing fireworks and light display kind of made the whole trip quite memorable and as they would say it themselves, magical.



Although I noticed, in all our meals, I was usually last to get my food. That changed when we started eating shared food.



13th December : Lantau Island tour



Once again, we traversed the Tung Chung line all the way to Tung Chung terminal and began our tour there. Once there, we bought our bus/cablecar passes, and we were checked up and ready to go.



Hopping into the cable car was cool :D



The panoramic view was rather, disappointing. Despite us being able to see kilometres from the elevation. That all proved to be nothing after we entered the mountain. This was LARGELY(and I mean totally >_>) because of the freaking mist.



The cable car was fogged up from the outside and we were treated to a spectacular front seat like view to a cloud of white ._____.



When we reached the station, most of us didn't really realise we had. Thank goodness I noticed the big fat door opening with a loud bang and walked out.



LANTAU ISLAND IS COLD, think the temperature is about 12 degrees. Either way, it was colder than what we had been through thus far. My hands were shivering the whole way. We walked through the God Knows what tour village and we began our ascent up the 268 steps of the Giant Buddha Statue.



268 steps of careful treading on wet stone and cold air and I was pretty pissed when I got to the top. ESPECIALLY when the buddha's face had been totally blocked off by the mist, leaving only his arms, body and hair intact.



Nevertheless, we walked down and took a bus to Tai O fishing village, where we didn't really do much, but we did try some of their local fare. Nice food.



Suzanne then brought us back and we took a train to Tsuen Wan, where we saw many students in uniform. I swear, I fucking saw a sailor fuku, IN HONG KONG WTF. Hawt, anyway. We went to this restaurant where they served excellent goose and we tucked in. Goose tastes a big like duck, except more flavourful with more flesh and lacking duck's horrid smell. Coooooool.


An amazingly speed h4x bus brought us to Jordan district, where we took another bus to the starry pier. To watched the light display at Hong Kong's waterfront. After that, we walked around the avenue of stars, and saw Jackie Chan's plaque on the ground, and a statue of bruce lee. Mild shopping took place after that in conjunction with going back to Metropark.



14th december : Ocean Park



Of course its not really so much of a park =/



We took the MTR from Mongkok(once again) towards admiralty(NOT THE SINGAPORE ONE) and we got off. After purchasing our 2 way tickets to and fro ocean park, we got onto bus number 629 and waited.



Along the way, I saw Jay Chou's advertisement for the MotoROKR E6. E6 WTF, WE ONLY HAVE E2. A lot of celebrities have their own specialized advertisement.



Getting onto the world's longest escalator system was a bitch, the whole thing was pretty slow. Though the wait was worth it.



OHMYGAWD I SAW A DOLPHIN UP CLOSE, A DOLPHIN, A GENUINE NON-PLASTIC FIGURUINE BOTTLENOSED DOLPHIN, HE EATS FISH! =O



In terms of wholesome fun, Ocean Park > Hong Kong disneyland.



For one, Ocean park has the ABYSS.



On a 59.61 metre tower, 12 sacrifices are brought up vertically to watch the scenery for a moment, before plumetting down all the way to render the poor fools hapless. Or so they want you to think. In truth, it was fucking fun and I took it like 8 or 9 times. My ass gets lifted off the seat all the time rofl. So goddamn funny.



The rain began so we moved into the aquariums and saw the display. Wow, seadragons look cool. So do jellyfish. We saw this huge ass tank full of fish and other marine animals, sea turtles, urchins, and even octopi.



The best part was, we caught them during feeding time!



After that, we took a short 8 minute cable car ride to Lowland, but were disappointed at the lack of, entertainment. We came back and then began to take the mine car, another lesser rollercoaster ride. It was much more violent that it looked, jerking a lot, but the drops were fun, definitely.



Some tour group had found their way to ocean park 2 hours before it was closing, they clogged up the whole escalator >_>



629ed back to admiralty, and we took the remaining ride to central.



The Peak tram was a short 10 minute walk away from there, paid for our tickets and hopped onto the tram. The tram goes up a gradient of 27 degrees, which is, of course, steep. We feel restrained with the awkward architechture when the tram is flat.



Oh yeah, they build a fucking shopping centre at Hong Kong's highest peak, and its so cold there lol. Some sec 1 called Unice recognised me even though I didn't know whom she was, she warned me about Mrs Lim Lye Sim, whom I saw later, even though I did run my ass away.



Uncle Yaohe went shopping on his own while we returned to the hotel to have 1 last dinner with Suzanne. Nice.

15th december: Return of the King

244th post, not that it makes much significance.



As I listen to this last Mrbrown podcast before my flight later, for these next 4 days I won't be able to wake up at 8am just to listen to it. Well, its only 4 days



Still, I'm making a mountain out of a molehill out of a short vacation. But then, whooo. Its HongKONG! And I haven't been on a plane since the previous half of my life. E.g, the plane to beijing when I was 7.



Perhaps I might've developed an acute fear of flying, but for a 3 hour flight? All I'll need is my mentos and prawn crackers to tide myself over, yeah.



It's certainly true that hongkong is just a country not that far away, but to me, its the divine land of food, and I'm pretty happy mom willingly spent money just so I can enjoy myself out of this country.



If I somehow manage to find a working computer in hongkong, Don't worry, I'll sure as hell keep this blog updated as much as possible.

Didn't blog yesterday due to security from Miss Serene Tan.



A normal day at work perhaps. Until the big big BIG guest of honor Miss Amber Tan Shi Qi arrived with her boyfriend. Then we ate and had somewhat an argument over where to go and how to get there.



One problem was, she wanted to get to Bugis and you have to take either 960 or 851. BUT, BUT. The buses available nearby were 961 and 852. Lawl, took 171 to orchard anyway.



Amber owns, really. She always knows what's good for herself and isn't afraid to point out what's crappy in this world. She acted sick in front of some guy hogging 2 seats on the bus LOL. In the end, the phailure drama queen didn't make it ;D instead losing to some old lady. Then the topic of campers for elderly folk on buses came up O_O



Aanyway, got off at Far East(To Amber's horror, she's allergic to Malay Bengs) and started walking around. Her rather passive boyfriend bought a wallet to give to his friend at Fat Wallet, then we walked around more before the [probably already self proclaimed] goddess of cynicality decided to break off with her lone piece of advice :

Despite our confuzzled faces, we continued our hunt for the perfect gift for serene.



I wasn't very sure about what to get, so I got @2!$@%635&+*_$^~!"£@$% for serene. This censorship is due to the fact that I fucking forgot to give her her present today.



Nonetheless, after many hours of prowling around the corridors and lanes of far east, we sat down and discussed, after we got the gift, hatched the master plan. We both went to eat the chicken rice at the top floor, WOW, really WOW. We got served in about 80 seconds. Pretty ex, but the price was well justified.



After the in-depth discussion that night, we decided to go my house, instead of sentosa.



Then met nicky to buy stuff at bukit panjang plaza this morning. Took some time and bought stuff here and there, then chionged back, saw the footwear at the front gate, and decided to pull stunt.



I stealthily stuck my hand through the back door and decided to clear my way through. But, too our dismay, all of them were at the linearly located dining room. SHIT????



Hid the cake and zao-ed to my room, watched a bit of family guy, before we watched bleach 106(again for me), then went to the living room to watch JOHN TUCKER MUST DIE!



Fucking chick flick, good, but crap ending D:



Went to the basketball court only to find 20-30 over NJC people hogging it, I didn't dare to push them out so let them continue playing. Then we went to eat at the cafe where the chef seriously needs to get a pack of strepsils.



Then the others left



Right, not before we surprised serene with the cake! Only it wasn't much of a surprise because supeng spoilt it D:

When the others left, the 4 of us went to swim, argh.



Lol, any advice from jack would sound like "Never wear shorts to swim".

I had to refresh his memory on how to swim, and he looked pretty funny underwater when we were trying to see who could hold our breath the longest.



Came back and bathed, then we went to bukit panjang plaza! Dad fetched us over, we decided to go MOS burger for dinner, wahahhaha. I ate the Natsumi fish burger, which replaced the bun with lettuce leaves, cool concept, but they need to make the leaves STIFFER man, too flimsy.



Went to buy bubble tea before walking around. We decided to go. to LIBRARY, WTF????



We grabbed some books and began reading some stuff on materials. Apparently, coal tar is the way to go after oil supplies run dry, and processed vegetable oil runs better on vehicles than regular diesel petroleum! WOW



Walked them to their respective transport areas, and took 75 home due to lack of back gate key. =/

Guai lan alarm woke me up at 8am AGAIN.



Mom gave me $10, which proved to be pretty useful. I bathed and changed into the olive long sleeved doublelayer before listening to the mousedeer podcast and jetting to clementi, and yes, it was once again, on a 184.



Arrived at 10am[AHEM], then jack came only at 10.30. Bought the $2 set of doom and sold the muffin to jack for $1(which I just realised he hasn't returned me). Nicky came almost immediately after jack went to change into his new black shirt, We decided to just eat.



Serene called and nicky went to buy her breakfast. Lol, flag implanted on the egg, hilarious shit. I think serene now knows the value of $2 ;D



We made our way down to Redhill MRT before walking a shit long way to the bus interchange. God dammit I swear they should've followed me up the stairs. I lagged 1 minute trying to call them la =/



273, Jack's childhood bus, came to bring us to Safra, where we pooled to no end! Well, 4 hours did come to an end, got damn pissed after doing a lot of stupid shots. Took bus to VIVO! After seeing that the direct route up mount faber was under maintainence.



Went over to Carls' Jr to get a 1337 h4xx0r deal of my drink and fries, ZAPPLE + SPRITE = OWNAGE. REAL LIFE MATHCRAFT!



Lousy band ruined the whole atmosphere with their "emo" depressing music. The sunset at vivo's 3rd floor looks damn nice, especially to the west area, the whole sky glows orange contrasting the dark clouds.



There was this guai lan boat that drifted along the whole time while we were there O_O



Took MRT to clementi where it was raining, then 184ed home, again. Fell asleep 4 times o.o



Gonna pass faith 6's gathering, lazy to go.

And so, we deduce that we can trade a sausage mcmuffin, an ice milo, and $1.30 for a hash brown.

Don't we all love Mcdonald's $2 deals? Heh

Took MRT to outram before changing to the speed h4x northeast line to vivo. Me, jack, yijo and nicky went to the rooftop square a while before going to play air-hockey. Got owned jajaajajjajaja. =/

145 brought us to SAFRA mount faber. We got tables down and began the games man. I won slightly more games than I lost. Due to cherhan's skill, and the 8 balls hating my ass so much they love to stick to the holes. If not I think I did pretty okay whooo, tyco balls FTW

went upstairs to play like 1 hour of CS, went from top fragger to negative frags in minutes. Manual shotgun owns JOO!! Especially when i chiong, watergun also damn fun lol, wheeee.

In the end, we took 176 to bukit merah interchange to take 198. After a freaking long bus ride, we got off 2 bus stops earlier(due to nicky listening to chao) and walked from nan hua to clementi. I crossed the road after seeing bryan and his mom and sis. Then saw beatrice take the 184 with me.

Stupid bus ride that made me feel so bored for so long.

Something called me up at 8am yesterday and told me to play dota.

I didn't, considering an ethereal voice at my age is really kinda dumb, so I camped at the com. Jack called at about 12 to say he had reached, I went down to look for him, but he had actually gone up ahead already.

Nonetheless we started playing those retarded wc3 maps like run kitty run and poke the angry ogre. Kept saving progress, gave up at the second stage ;D

I wouldn't say it wasn't fun. Nicky and Serene came and we started watching south park. Willzyx and the zipods! The alien lord Xenu! JAJAJA scientology is teh pwn.

Then Jack went to play soccer while the 3 lazier ones decided to stay, played dai di twice and then I chionged o2jam while the other 2 slept, booooooooooooooooring at that point.

By the time we wanted to call jack up as it was about to rain, he had already appeared at my door. We then went to leave in some dota game.

It wasn't long before we actually went down to join the rather defunct party, we passed and afked at the basketball court, jack scored 3 goals with 1 backheel one, coolio! ;D

Some of us decided to pass the cake and watched 功夫 at my house, laughed at the classic scenes, KNIFE THROWING FTW

Saw kai zhong from primary school days, man has he lost weight. They passed over the basketball court to us and let us play, allowing my face to get pummeled by a ball. Walked the 2 guys to the Upper Bukit Timah Road bus stop and went home.







I sincerely hope mom really brings me to apply for lenses later =(

I took 184, AGAIN.

This time, armed with 300 bucks to go buy my school shit. I decided that waiting for december and gambling with the stock of books wasn't the best plan for a secondary 3 student to do.

The books were freaking, stones. Thank god for my 1337 h4xx0r bag of doom. And my arms that didn't give up on me. School was like totally empty except for the NP camp, weiliat whacked my ass ._.

Made it to Clementi, ate at Mcdonalds. Got stuck in the toilet and busted the lock, I BUSTED THE LOCK WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Came home to finish the 9th season of South park. Slept from 4 - 7, for no apparent reason, wanted it to be a short nap, but too bad.
